The Trauma Stewardship Institute hired 3Circle to bring a modern, responsive design to their website. Originally built around 2010, their website design was dated and hard for users to navigate. Mobile users had issues viewing the site and they also wanted to revamp their contact form to acquire more information from their users.
One of their main concerns was keeping the same soothing color palette and feel of their old site. Jonita Bernstein at Blueline Deisgn worked with 3Circle and the client to come up with a design that was modern and useable but still kept the “feel” of the old site.
Homepage – Before and After
The homepage was revamped to keep the wave pattern in the header but instead of a wave graphic, sliders were added so that users could click on relevant updated content. The homepage and all subpages were changed to fullwidth, making the most use out of all the screen real estate.
The result: A much more pleasing experience and a way for Trauma Stewardship to feature content
Subpage – Before and After
We removed the left sidebar navigation to allow for more content to appear on the screen. The pictures were updated and the testimonials were kept on the right sidebar but the overall feel is more modern and pleasing to the eye.
